The first Jugbusters release in three years and the debut studio recording, No Easier Way represents a new musical direction for the band. The album features three traditional fiddle tunes and twelve original songs, showcasing the Jugbusters songwriting talents for the first time. No Easier Way also goes beyond the traditional string band sound of the previous albums, adding electric guitar and drums to the already-big Jugbusters sound. Currently the only live record in existence from the nationally-known Floyd Country Store in Floyd, VA, the second Jugbusters album features a terrific mix of vocal and musical styles from band members Bill Richardson, Russ Boyd, Bob Browder, John Hylton, Nicholas Polys, and Larry Houghton. Keep The Crows Out foreshadows the band’s recent forays into honky-tonk, including tunes from the likes of country legends Ray Price and Merle Haggard.

Recorded live in June 2004 at the Rex Theater in historic Galax, VA, the first Jugbusters album contains over 75 minutes of two-stepping and flat-footing music. The band lineup at the time featured Bill Richardson on fiddle, Brien Fain on banjo, John Hylton and Nicholas Polys on guitar, and Larry Houghton on bass.
