Sorry for the short notice, but the Jugbusters will be playing Saturday, November 25, at 11:00 on WPAQ 740 AM.  Playing on the Merry-Go-Round is always a good time for us, so if you’re within broadcast range of Mount Airy, NC, give it a listen!

We’ll also be back at The Cellar this Thursday for our usual night out there.  It’s been a couple of weeks since we’ve been able to give Blacksburg its usual honky-tonk fix, so we expect this week should be brimming with pent-up energy.  Come out and dance away those holiday pounds…

Autumn has settled into the New River Valley, and the Jugbusters are catching our breath after a very full summer schedule. We’ve been working out (and testing out) some new material, spending a lot of time listening to some new music, and generally enjoying a bit of time away from the constant succession of gigs. Thanks to everyone who came to all of our many, many events over the last few months.

The Jugbusters are also featured in the current edition of Blue Ridge Back Roads. Long-time Jugbusters fans won’t find much new in the article, but the publication is a great venue for getting some new eyes and ears. Thanks to BRBR for the press!

The November schedule looks pretty casual — we’ve got our usual gigs at the Cellar in Blacksburg. Come on out and see us some time. There’s never a cover charge, and the dancing is always… vigorous.
